Can I add more than one email account?

Yes. MNF allows you to add as many email accounts as you want. You can even multiple emails from the same provider (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo).

Will MyNameFlow import the same name twice?

MNF will not import the same email twice. MNF keeps a record of all emails that have been added or removed so your list is always up to date. If a user has an email on two different account (e.g, Gmail and Yahoo), MNF will import it the first time, but will not import it the second time. However, if a prospect has two separate emails (e.g., work and personal), MNF will import them both. A user can easily sort by name and then remove any prospect they believe is a duplicate because they have two different emails. In addition, any prospect can unsubscribe from the list. Therefore, if a prospect receives the newsletter in both his or her work and personal email, he or she can simply unsubscribe from one.

Can I customize my newsletter?

MNF automatically customizes your welcome email and newsletter with your picture, title and contact information. MNF allows you to modify your disclosure language on your welcome email and newsletter (subject to any restrictions from your firm’s compliance department). MNF also allows you to modify the introduction to each newsletter (again, subject to any restrictions from your firm’s compliance department).

How often does MyNameFlow send emails to my names?

MNF sends a welcome email to each name you add to your list. This welcome email serves as an introduction so each prospect knows why he or she has been added to your list. You will have an opportunity to review the welcome email before it is sent.

After that, MNF sends a newsletter to your names once a month. You will receive an email notification about 10 days prior to the newsletter send date. It will include a link so you can review the newsletter and make changes to the introduction (subject to any restriction from your firm’s compliance department).

MNF gives you the option not to send your newsletter in any given month.

How do I know if my names are reading my newsletter?

MNF provides you with reporting so you can see the details of each campaign. Every month, you will receive an email report with the initial number of names who opened your newsletter and clicked on a link. In addition, you can visit the MNF site at any time to see your newsletter results. This includes a list of all your names who received your newsletter, opened your newsletter or clicked on a link. MNF also shows you the link each user clicked.

Where does MyNameFlow get life events?

MNF works with third-party data providers to identify life events on your names. This is a very common practice among corporate marketers. MNF works with these firms to bring this best practice to individual financial professionals. MNF signs agreements with these well-established firms to ensure the privacy of your data.

Are the life events accurate?

Third-party data firms use a variety of sources to identify life events. They use algorithms to make the life events as accurate as possible. However, no data source is perfect. Therefore, MNF recommends that you reach out to your prospects and say “what’s new” and let them bring up the life event.
